Peace with Aloha

Hawaii Schools Children's Art

Our Hawaii Schools Peace with Aloha project is twelve years old this year. In this project we work with about twenty participating schools and about 400 students every year. Schools are invited to participate in a peace with aloha art and writing activity, which results in community exhibits and the publishing of materials that promote peace with aloha. Last year we held Peace with Aloha Children Art Exhibits at Honolulu Hale - City Hall, the State Capital, and
Kapiolani Community College. This project is housed and operates out of the PJRC - Nadao Yoshinaga Peace Center
(Chinatown).
